Cabinet convenience

The SHELFMAID® Wastebasket Tray is designed to provide easy access to items, stored in a cabinet, that require constant access. SHELFMAID® is ideal for those who like to store their wastebasket in an under-sink cabinet. SHELFMAID® will slide out of the cabinet as the door opens and slide back in as it closes, alleviating having to pull items out to access them.

SHELFMAID®, the high quality, reasonably priced, superior cabinet convenience item, will go well in more than one cabinet.

After comparing like items to SHELFMAID®, the difference in value is easy to see. You will not want to be without SHELFMAID® after experiencing its convenience time after time, day in and day out.

Install in 4 steps.

Step 1

To disconnect lower slide member from tray, remove safety tape and fully extend slide mechanism. Disengage lever (see Fig. A) and separate lower slide member from upper slide member.

Step 2

To mount lower slide member, place slide on bottom shelf of cabinet (stop at rear, see Fig. A) 2-3/4 inches from the front edge and 7-1/2 inches from the hinge pivot-point of cabinet door (see Fig. A). Secure with 4 screws.

Step 3

Re-connect upper and lower slide mechanisms by sliding tray over lower slide member inwards until it stops (see Fig. B). MAKE SURE THE END THAT SAYS SHELFMAID IS FACING YOU. Slide tray out again. Align end of pivot arm over pivot bolt. Push the pivot bolt through and secure thumb-nut.

Step 4

To mount pivot arm to door, measure 14 inches from the hinge pivot-point of open cabinet door, center, and mark screw points with a pencil. Pivot arm must be parallel to the bottom shelf of cabinet. Secure with remaining 2 screws (see Fig. C).

* For best results a minimum of 14" W X 18" D unobstructed shelf area is recommended, with a minimum cabinet opening of 15". A standard Philips screwdriver and tape measure are the only tools required for installation.
